The Caixabank Palma City Half Marathon & 10K Port de Palma is held annually in Palma de Mallorca, offering a 21.097 km half marathon and a 10 km race. The start is at Av. Adolfo Suárez by Parc de la Mar, with the finish located back at Parc de la Mar, facing Palma Cathedral and adjacent to the Joan Miró mural. This is a road race on a flat, traffic-free urban course. Chip timing, medical support, and a bag drop are provided. Half marathon runners receive water at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and the finish line.
The half marathon route incorporates Palma’s waterfront and city streets, including Paseo Marítimo, Paseo Sagrera, the Llevant motorway, the city center, Parc de la Mar, and the vicinity of Bellver Castle. The 10K follows a similar Palma and port route in a shorter distance. Its age categories accommodate older participants than the half marathon. Bib collection occurs at a pre-race expo. The finish area, near the cathedral and the sea, includes music, food, and drinks.
