Bryneløpet takes place in downtown Bryne, Rogaland, coinciding with the Potato Festival. The race shares the town center with festival attendees and events. This year's event is for elementary-school children in grades 1 through 7, featuring short heats divided by age and gender. It has been organized annually since 2013. The listed distances are 1 km and 7 km, with varied terrain.
The starting area is located between M44 and Brynesenteret. The children's route circles the lower section of Fritz Røed parken. Older race accounts detail a largely flat town-center course, with slightly hillier first and last kilometers. Both a long course and a short course of approximately 6.6 km were offered. Past results show winners including local club runners like Jarle Risa, Anne J Hodne, Alf Ante Idland Tornensis, and Tonje Nødland.
