43rd Annual Creighton University School of Medicine Walk for Wishes 2026

The Creighton University School of Medicine Walk for Wishes is a 5K run/walk held at Chalco Hills Recreation Area by Wehrspann Lake in Omaha, Nebraska. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM outside the Chalco Hills Recreation Building, with the race commencing at 9:00 AM. This event serves as a community fundraiser, with 100% of all proceeds directed to Make-A-Wish Nebraska. The event gathers Creighton medical students, school supporters, Omaha residents, families, and children. Children aged 5 and under may participate in the 5K without charge. Registration provides a race shirt, refreshments, snacks, and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased, and bids can be placed on race day. Now in its 43rd year, the event supports wishes for children with critical illnesses. Those unable to attend can still contribute to the Make-A-Wish mission.
