Yankee Springs Fall Festival 2026

Yankee Springs Fall Festival is a trail running event held at Deep Lake Campground near Middleville, Michigan, starting and finishing within the campground. Participants can select a 10k-ish loop, a 25k loop, or a 50k composed of two 25k laps. The shortest race measures closer to seven miles than a standard 10k, indicating a preference for trail-running flexibility over road-running exactness. The courses feature rolling single track in the Yankee Springs area. The 10k-ish loop has one aid station, while the 25k route includes four. Aid stations provide water, Gatorade, and a selection of sweet and salty snacks. Runners in the 50k may have pacers during their second lap. Camping is integrated into the event; Deep Lake provides primitive sites adjacent to the start and finish, and the nearby Gun Lake Campground offers sites with running water and electrical hookups. Race entry includes a long-sleeve tech shirt or buff. The event utilizes trails also used for the organizers' spring and winter races.
