WTR Serra do Mar 2026

WTR Serra do Mar concludes the WTR season in Vale das Videiras, a rural district of Petrópolis in Rio de Janeiro state. Held annually in November, it combines trail running, mountain biking, and duathlon over a weekend. Trail distances range from Short to Ultra, with bike options split between Light and Pro. The event also determines the year’s WTR Ranking honors for trail runners and mountain bikers, attracting athletes pursuing points alongside those drawn to the mountain scenery. The courses traverse farms and marked trails near preserved areas, featuring rare vegetation and views of the Serra do Mar mountains. The WTR Arena is located at the Teresinha cultural space in Vale das Videiras. Here, the event includes shows, a food park, a WTR Store, sponsor areas, complimentary massage, cryotherapy recovery, and a Kids area. A Kids Race is also offered, providing a reason for families to remain at the arena during the main competitions.
