Slitusprinten

Slitusprinten begins and ends at Slitu Stadion in Slitu, Viken, featuring a fast 10 km road race as its primary event. Held in September and organized by Slitu IF Skigruppe, the 10 km course is officially measured by NFIF. It consists solely of asphalt and remains flat, designed for runners aiming for a fast time rather than those seeking hills or varied terrain. The event also features Vibeke W. Skofteruds Minneløp, a 1000 m children’s race for ages 4 to 12 on a flat course easily viewable by spectators. A 5 km men’s road race is included as part of the Norwegian Championship. Recent results indicate club runners dominate the 10 km, with winning times near 31 minutes, though the event welcomes recreational participants.
