MCRRC Cabin John Kids' Run 2026

The MCRRC Cabin John Kids' Run is a free youth race for runners ages 17 and under at Cabin John Regional Park, 7450 Tuckerman Lane in Bethesda, Maryland. The first event begins at 9:00 AM, featuring a 0.25-mile Young Run, followed by 0.50-mile and 1-mile Young Runs. All children must be registered by a parent or guardian prior to race day. This event is part of the MCRRC Youth Series, emphasizing participation and activity over timed results. Families should plan to arrive by 8:45 AM for parking; the Westlake entrance should be avoided after this time as it will be used for the children's lineup. Parents and guardians do not require separate registration if they intend to run with a child. As with other MCRRC events, volunteers will staff the race.
