Rut Run 5k 2026

Rut Run 5K is a 3.1-mile fall race in Estes Park, Colorado, connected to the town's Elk Fest. This downhill, point-to-point run is organized by the Estes Park Running Club, welcoming runners, joggers, walkers, and strollers on the course. Participants take the Hiker Shuttle from the Estes Park Visitor Center to the start on Fish Hatchery Road, then proceed along the Fall River Trail toward downtown. The course passes the historic Elkhorn Lodge, follows the river, and concludes at Performance Park. Elk Fest food vendors, local restaurants, and a complimentary beer token are available at the finish, linking the event to the festival.
