Braunschweiger Lauftage takes place in late October in Braunschweig, offering three standard distances: 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, and a half marathon. The event is designed around the city and its parks, deviating from a typical out-and-back road course. The paths are surfaced with asphalt or packed gravel. The 5K route proceeds directly into the Bürgerpark from the start. The 10K follows the shoreline of the Braunschweiger Südsee.
