CxM Tiñosa 2026

The CxM Tiñosa is a mountain-running series based in Priego de Córdoba, located in the south of Córdoba province. Organized by Club Deportivo Umax Trail, it takes place in November and provides three race options: an 11 km trail race with approximately 400 meters of elevation gain, alongside longer 24 km and 42 km distances. The event is sanctioned by the Andalusian mountain federation and is listed on the Córdoba running calendar as a widely attended race, not exclusively for elite athletes. Runners begin at the Paseo de la Fuente del Rey before entering the Sierras Subbéticas Geopark, a region with hills formed from ancient seabeds. The shorter race offers a manageable mountain course for less experienced trail runners, while the marathon distance serves experienced runners seeking a challenging day. This race is now in its twelfth edition, possessing sufficient local history to feel established while retaining its character as a club-organized, town-based event.
