Euro Marathon Metz

The Euro Marathon Metz takes runners through the center of Metz in eastern France on an October weekend. The main event is a full 42.195 km marathon. The program also offers a half marathon, a 10 km race, a relay, and children's races, catering to serious marathoners, local club runners, families, and younger participants. The route incorporates Metz landmarks. Marathon runners pass the Moselle river, Saint-Étienne Cathedral, the Porte des Allemands, and Stade Saint-Symphorien. Children's races have been held in Parc de la Seille. The event resumed after a two-year hiatus due to legal disputes, featuring a revised course and the return of the 10 km race. Runners collect bibs and gather at a race village located at the Arènes.
