Über dieses Rennen
Every race in the Hill Valley 88 Miler begins and ends at the clock tower, establishing a singular meeting point for the series. The event takes place in Hill Valley, California, spanning late September into October, with in-person races commencing in the morning. The primary race covers 88 miles, complemented by a virtual 88-mile option, a one-mile fun run/walk, and a half-mile race, ensuring the day accommodates more than just ultrarunners.
Course specifics are few, yet the clock tower and the recurring number 88 clearly communicate a playful theme. The shorter races allow families, walkers, and novice runners to share the starting area with those undertaking the long distance. The initial 1,000 participants will receive a limited-edition 88 Miler hat, and all finishers will be awarded medals hand-painted by students from Hill Valley Elementary. Packet pickup is available before race day at Moorestown Running Company in New Jersey; race-morning pickup will be at a community center near the start line. Runners receive complimentary parking, while spectators must pay for parking behind the clock tower or in the garage on 3rd Street.
