Über dieses Rennen
The Perezluha Coaching Time Trial Series is a Florida Polytechnic point series featuring short bike time trials, including a bonus Firetower event. Racing typically begins at 9:00 a.m., with a second wave at 10:00 a.m. if participation or category mix requires it. The series is open to riders aged 14-99, from Pro to Cat 5, with the start order from oldest to youngest. Riders select either Aero or Merckx style; Merckx denotes a road-bike setup excluding disc wheels, aero wheels over 60mm, aero bars, time-trial frames, or aero helmets.
The standard race is an 8-mile out-and-back time trial with two turnarounds. The 15-kilometer option uses the same course with an additional turnaround, starting at the second u-turn. Categories include handcycles, paracycles, juniors, women and men on Merckx road bikes, women and men on aero time-trial bikes, recumbents, fixed gear, tandem, and two-person teams. A coach-led warm-up precedes racing, offering a course preview, u-turn safety information, pacing advice, warm-up suggestions, and a wind forecast. Results, podiums, and awards conclude the racing, often followed by a 30- to 50-mile group ride with varying intensity options.
