Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Shreveport 2026

The Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon takes place at Walker Place Park in Bossier City, Louisiana, situated across the Red River from Shreveport. Participants can select a 5K, 10K, or half marathon, accommodating short-distance runners, those training for longer distances, and individuals seeking a local race focused on military appreciation. The event honors veterans directly: veterans receive free entry, and active duty military can participate at a reduced cost with a government-issued military ID. Family and supporters may register at the standard rate. All participants will receive a race shirt and a custom finisher medal. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female overall finishers in each distance.
