Zimní běh na Blaník

Zimní běh na Blaník is a winter running race held in Načeradec, starting and finishing next to the Municipal Office on Karlovská Street. The primary 19.9 km race begins in the morning, followed later by a 11.2 km race for those seeking a less demanding challenge. The longer course ascends Velký Blaník and Malý Blaník, featuring 542 meters of elevation gain. The shorter course covers Malý Blaník with 238 meters of climbing. Race facilities are located at Načeradec Elementary School, approximately 270 meters from the start/finish area, with aid stations positioned along the courses. Having completed over fifty editions, the event stands as a local winter running tradition, not merely a race focused solely on achieving fast times.
