La Beaujolaise 12.5 is a night road race in Bavay, Hauts-de-France, northern France. Held in November, it centers on two road races, 12.5 km and 6.25 km, along with walks and children’s races, making the evening accessible to more than just regular runners.
The 12.5 km race begins after the children’s events and the 6.25 km walk. The 6.25 km race follows shortly after. The walk is untimed, the road races are for older participants, and young walkers have their own category. Costumes are encouraged, adding a relaxed, local party atmosphere, and runners are provided with practical amenities like changing rooms and showers. Le Galop Romain bavaisien organizes the event, with Sébastia Baldinu as president.
