La Bisonnade is a food-focused run and walk held in Saint-Pierre-du-Regard, Orne, Normandy. It features three distances named after menu items: la fine bouche at 18 km, la gourmande at 11 km, and l'encas at 7 km. Participants may run or walk, accommodating regular runners, casual walkers, and those who run infrequently.
The course resembles a moving local tasting more than a typical trail race. The 18 km route includes three aid stations, one at the finish, while the shorter routes have two. Aid stations offer Norman products like andouille, poire, tripes, and camembert, alongside standard refreshments. Organizer Alexandre Guyot and his brother established the event because the region lacked activities, and they desired an event with broader appeal than a standard trail race.
