Les 21 Kms de Casteljaloux is a municipal running event in Casteljaloux, a spa town in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The main choices are a 21 km race starting at 9:00 AM and a 10 km race starting at 9:15 AM, with a non-timed charity walk setting off a few minutes later. It is still a young event, with its third edition using new courses for both race distances. The routes are not flat-out mountain runs: the 21 km course lists 92 meters of climbing, while the 10 km has 46 meters, so the effort is more rolling than severe. The day is aimed at a broad local crowd, from newer runners to experienced athletes, and the charity walk gives families and friends a way to join without racing.
