The Ecomarathon de Tondabayashi is a road race held in Tondabayashi, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, each September. The event has a limit of 200 participants. The primary races offered are a 10 km for men and women, and a 5 km parent-child run. Some general listings also indicate longer race options are available. All races commence at 11:00 AM. Beginners are welcome, and the registration process is noted as simple for visitors.
The race takes place at Tondabayashi Ishikawa Nishi Itamochi Ground, situated between Showa Bridge and Kawanishi Ohashi Bridge. This location is approximately 1 km east of Kawanishi Station on the Kintetsu Nagano Line. Participants will run on the Minamikawachi cycling road, which follows the Ishikawa river area. The 10 km race is designated for healthy individuals over high-school age. The 5 km parent-child run is for children under 15 accompanied by a guardian. This family run is not timed and does not offer awards; participants can refer to a finish clock or their personal timepiece. The organizer is ecomarathon.run, with support from Second Harvest and International Refugee Sup.
