Bieg Po Kwiat Paproci 2026

Bieg Po Kwiat Paproci is a small cross-country running event held in the Sarbia Forest District near Czarnków, starting at Sarbka. It focuses on forest trails instead of city streets, offering a 5 km race, a 10 km race, children’s races, and a Nordic Walking option. The participant limit is 300, with 60 spots reserved for children and youth, making it resemble a local sports gathering more than a large-scale competition. The courses follow forest tracks marked with tape. The event is organized by the Sports and Recreation Center in Czarnków in collaboration with Nadleśnictwo Sarbia. Now in its third edition, the event provides participants with a medal, water, a recovery meal, and small additional items in their race package. The name translates to “Run for the Fern Flower,” referencing the Polish midsummer legend about a magical flower that supposedly blooms briefly in the forest.
