Gdańskie igrzyska lekkoatletyczne 2026

Gdańskie Igrzyska Lekkoatletyczne is a free athletics event at SP 92 on ul. Startowa 9 in Gdańsk’s Zaspa Młyniec district. It is designed primarily for children, teenagers, and families, featuring sprint races, a longer junior run, long jump, and occasionally ball throw. Younger children can participate in a 200 m “for fun” race with their parents. Older participants compete in 60 m and 200 m races, with block starts for the older runners. A 600 m race is also held for the 10-12 and 13-16 age groups, making the day resemble a school athletics festival more than a single road race. The events are organized by age, from 5-6 through 13-16, with long jump available for these youth categories. Medals and diplomas are awarded to participants. The organizers include family attractions alongside the sports program. The meet is organized by Stowarzyszenie Razem dla Przedszkola 86, Szkoła Podstawowa nr 92, and the Zaspa Młyniec district council. Registration is online, and places are limited. Fundacja Mam Marzenie is also participating with a stand to raise funds for the children it supports.
