A single Race Village anchors the Sudety MTB Challenge, so riders race four mountain-bike stages without a daily camp move. The race runs in late July in the Sudety mountains on the Polish-Czech border, with routes in the Śnieżnik Massif and the Bialskie and Złote Mountains. It is a true MTB stage race: four consecutive days, long climbs, rough descents, singletrack, gravel, and technical forest sections. Riders choose between Adventure, roughly 40-50 km a day, and Classic, roughly 60-70 km a day.
The full Classic route adds up to about 235 km with 6,437 m of climbing, while Adventure covers about 176 km with 4,757 m of climbing. The opening three stages are the biggest days, each offering both distances and more than 1,100 m of climbing even on the shorter option; the final stage is 45.8 km with 1,184 m of ascent. People can enter solo or as a two-person team, which gives the race both an individual endurance feel and a partner-racing option. G&G Promotion organizes the event, and the series has been shaped over more than two decades around carefully selected mountain routes, including paths that are harder to reach outside the race.
