Triathlon Rzeszów

Triathlon Rzeszów begins with a swim at Żwirownia, a lake area in Rzeszów, and structures a full race weekend around swim-bike-run formats in late spring. The main sprint race includes 0.75 km of swimming, 20 km of cycling, and 5 km of running, utilizing drafting to keep the bike leg tight and tactical. The event also provides non-drafting 1/8 and 1/4 IM races, with the longer option covering 0.95 km in the water, 45 km on the bike, and 10.55 km on foot. The race is organized by Swim Tri Rzeszów and holds significance beyond a local triathlon by hosting the Polish Age-Group Championships for the sprint distance. Younger athletes compete in their own supersprint race as part of the Polish Cup, and Rzeszów KIDS incorporates children’s activities. The bike course is noted as fast, the run passes through the city, and past European Cup races have attracted competitors from 20 countries across 4 continents.
