Tvrdošínska 12 is a road race held in early June in Tvrdošín, Slovakia, beginning on Trojičné námestie. This local running event has over twenty editions completed, attracting competitive runners alongside families participating in the children's races.
The children's categories are a significant part of the day, with the largest group being kindergarten-aged children. Every child receives a medal and a sweet upon finishing, ensuring even the youngest participants take something home. The event also commemorates Ján Wydra, a multiple winner who passed away after a traffic accident during an evening training run. Runners observe a moment of silence for him before the start, and his wife, Sabina, has traditionally been present.
