The 5K Foot Pursuit — In Pursuit of Suicide Awareness is an afternoon 5K starting at Liberty Benton High School in Hancock County, Ohio. The Crime Prevention Association of Findlay/Hancock County and the Hancock County Sheriff's Office Peer Support Team host this event, focusing on suicide awareness and mental health support over racing speed. Runners, walkers, and law enforcement professionals share the course to publicly support those affected by suicide and mental health struggles. Pre-registered participants get a custom event shirt, finishers receive a medal, and the $30 entry fee maintains its accessibility as a community 5K.
