Hometown Jingle Jog

The Hometown Jingle Jog is a holiday 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run in Kennedale. Both races begin in the morning, following early packet pickup. The event accommodates various runners: those seeking age-group awards can compete in the 5K, while families can use the shorter event for a relaxed holiday walk or jog. The event embraces the season, encouraging Santa hats, ugly sweaters, and other festive attire on the course. Finishers receive a custom medal, early registrants get an event shirt, and post-race holiday treats are provided. Awards are given three deep in each age group, with categories ranging from 9 and under to 80+. The race supports the Kennedale Education Foundation and is in its second year.
