Momentum Miles That Matter 5k

Momentum Miles That Matter 5K is a beach run/walk on the sands of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, with the start and finish at Seawalk Pavilion. This is a first-time 5K supporting a local cause: all proceeds go to the Betty Griffin Center, which aids survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. The course remains on the beach, not city streets, so the surface is sand and the setting is the shoreline. The event is structured as a community run/walk, with space for casual participants and faster runners competing for the top-three male and female awards. Early participants receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal, and every participant gets a professional finish-line photo.
