Scenic Mountain Triathlon

This race, set entirely within Monongahela National Forest, begins with a swim in Summit Lake. The bike leg climbs over Kennison Mountain, hitting an elevation of 3,988 feet, before descending to Cranberry Mountain Nature Center. The run navigates down to Cranberry Glades and back. It's the WV State Championship and an Olympic Qualifying Event.
