Sobre esta carrera
The Foulées de Haut-Lieu features a quarry on its 12 km trail route, centered around Haut-Lieu in the Nord department of northern France. This annual race takes place in October, organized by the local association Haut-Lieu en forme et en couleurs. It's a short trail, not a road 10K or half marathon, with 235 metres of elevation gain.
The course winds through the quarry and into the surrounding countryside, offering a blend of rough terrain, open rural paths, climbs, and descents, without being an extreme mountain race. The difficulty is considered accessible for most runners, with a refreshment stop available. The event also hosts a cani-trail race for participants with their dogs, attracting runners from the local area and beyond. Local businesses and partners support the organization, contributing to the race's community atmosphere.
