Les Foulées du Plateau is a community running and walking event in Lannemezan, Hautes-Pyrénées, southwest France, focusing on mental health alongside race times. It features a 10 km run, a 5 km run, and a 5 km walk, with children’s courses complementing the adult events. The race is organized with the Centre Hospitalier de Lannemezan and connected to the local Mental Health Territorial Project and Mental Health Information Weeks.
The routes traverse the Parc de la Demi-Lune and the grounds of the Lannemezan Hospital Center, taking place partly in a public park and partly on a healthcare campus. It attracts local runners, walkers, families, adapted-sport participants, and individuals interested in the mental health information stands and start village. Notable past attendees include Sylvaire Blanc, a former French adapted-sport climbing champion, and Guillaume Beauxis, a semi-professional trail runner. The day includes on-site professionals, information booths, refreshments, and a portion of each registration fee is donated.
