WUU2K Urban Trail Run

Owhiro Bay, Khandallah, the ridgelines and reserves, and a finish in the central city give WUU2K Urban Trail Run a proper point-to-point feel. It is a "midwinter trail running event" with the mood of a classic winter trail challenge, using the capital’s backyard rather than a tidy park loop. Expect "rugged terrain and skyline views" more than easy cruising: technical climbs, exposed skyline ridges, and city-to-sea views are the heart of it. Runners and walkers show up for a hard day out, with starts from the bays or northern hills and a downhill sense of being pulled toward the city finish line.
