Sobre esta carrera
Biegiem na Bagry is a small Krakow race centered on Bagry, the city’s largest reservoir. The main event is a 5 km cross-country run, with children’s races from 50 m to 300 m held later. The start and finish are on a meadow between the water and Kacza Street, where the organizers also place the race office, changing rooms, and bag drop in tents.
The 5 km route circles the reservoir on gravel paths and asphalt, giving it a park-and-waterfront feel rather than a road race. The finish is by a sandy beach, and a local post-race tradition involves dipping tired legs into the reservoir water. Earlier editions began as a local initiative by Bagry, and the setup retains a neighborhood feel: arrive early, collect your packet, race by the water, then recover on the shore.
