Black Hills Veterans March and Marathon

This march honors the sacrifices of the nation’s servicemen and women. Inspired by the Bataan Memorial Death March, a commemorative march for all Veterans takes root in the Black Hills National Forest. Founded in 2002, the inaugural march in 2004 has grown to hundreds of participants. Participants can take on the Heavy Military option, carrying a 35lb rucksack on the Mickelson Trail.
