About this race
The Mondsee 5-Seen Radmarathon is one of the most beautiful and popular cycling marathons in Europe. Every year in early summer, the Mondseeland region transforms into the center of cycling. Around the famous basilica, a unique cycling arena is created, which delights 2,500 participants from over 40 nations year after year. Despite its international importance, the "Mondseer" has remained true to its family atmosphere. Whether you are an ambitious racing cyclist or a recreational rider, the cycling marathon offers the right challenge for every performance level with three varied routes and its own handbike classification. The routes lead through one of the most beautiful road cycling regions in Europe. Past Mondsee, Attersee, Wolfgangsee, Hallstättersee, and Fuschlsee, participants experience breathtaking landscapes, challenging climbs, and unforgettable views – embedded in the unique scenery of the Salzkammergut. It is not without reason that the Mondsee 5-Seen Radmarathon has been voted the most popular cycling marathon in Europe by its participants several times. Those who have participated once always come back. The Wohnzone Kids-Day makes the Mondsee 5-Seen Radmarathon an event for the whole family. Up to 150 children enthusiastically start on Saturday and experience real racing fever. The focus is on fun, exercise, and unforgettable moments. Because with us, every child is a winner and is received at the finish line with a medal, a trophy, and thunderous applause.
