Loser Bergzeitfahren 2026

SAT, September 19, 2026 · Altaussee , Austria

About this race

The Loser Bergzeitfahren takes cyclists directly up the Loser mountain above Altaussee, Styria, Austria, in a short, demanding mountain time trial. It is a fixture of the Salzkammergut Trophy series, held in autumn, with many participants viewing it as their final race of the season. The course covers 9 km and ascends 750 meters along the Loser panoramic road, which is completely closed to traffic for the event. MTB Club Salzkammergut is the organizer, and the event has seen 215 entries from eight countries. Road-bike cyclists also compete: Brigitte Filensky and Julian Braun established course records in their category, and Alina Reichert and Sabine Zallinger were among the top finishers in the women's road-bike division.
