About this race
Acron Oval serves as the starting point for a lap-based trail event that enters Garigal National Park and returns to the base periodically. Ten Trails of Garigal offers a flexible trail running challenge, allowing participants to determine their own distance. The natural environment and the clock ensure a genuine test. This event suits runners with established trail experience and strong endurance, not beginners.
The course follows winding singletrack trails with rolling elevation and technical sections that demand careful shoe selection and pacing. Clearly marked paths guide participants through scenic bushland and back to the start/finish area, allowing for brief recovery between laps. A notable feature is the 45-minute time limit for each lap; failing to meet it means waiting for the next lap to begin.
