The Kerstcorrida Hasselt begins and ends on Kolonel Dusartplein, with participants starting into the city center under a light show. This December road race offers options for children, a 3 km funny run and walk, and 5 km and 10 km races for those seeking a timed effort. The event is limited to 1,000 participants, maintaining a smaller scale compared to large city races. The 5 km and 10 km courses consist of 2.5 km loops through central Hasselt. The 3 km route embraces the Christmas spirit with costumes, walkers, and a jenever stand. Children have a dedicated toddler run and a 1.5 km kidsrun prior to the main events. The race benefits Kids4Kids, SOS Kinderdorpen, and Een Hart Voor Limburg, and it serves as a bonus event in the Vandersanden Limburg Runs, contributing towards a Limburg Runs medal.
