The WALLS Linker Oevert Half Marathon begins and ends on Thonetlaan on Antwerp’s Left Bank. The city skyline across the Scheldt serves as the race’s constant reference. The main event is the official 21.195 km half marathon, with the event also offering 10 km and marathon distances. Participants can join the 10 km or 21 km routes for walking, making the day suitable for more than just runners aiming for a specific time. The course is largely flat and approximately 95% paved, making it accessible for newcomers and beneficial for seasoned runners seeking a consistent pace.
The route crosses the green areas of Linkeroever, maintaining a view of Antwerp and passing the Scheldt, the Galgenweel, and the marina. Four aid stations will provide water and sports drink, utilizing reusable cups and a 100-meter drop zone around each. Pacers will assist half marathon participants aiming for finish times between 1h30 and 2h10. The start/finish area features an event village and a secure bag drop. The race, also known as the WALLS Great Half Antwerpen, returned after a year's break, with Runners’ Lab as one of its partners.
