Stara Zagora Mineral Baths is the start and end point for Brevet Kavakliika, located in Sarnena Sredna Gora. This event is a regular autumn brevet, providing a long day of cycling for those accustomed to such rides. The resort village offers lodging, walking paths, and opportunities for rest, serving as a comfortable base. The course uses country and intercity roads through the nearby hills, characterized by very little traffic, especially from buses and trucks. This setup enables cyclists to keep a consistent pace and appreciate the ride without worrying about large vehicles. Riders beginning the event will be those familiar with brevets, concentrating on self-directed pacing and effort management to return to the Mineral Baths.
