Circuito Brasileiro Aquathlon Brasília 2026

The Brasília round of the Brazilian Aquathlon circuit takes place at JK Bridge in Lago Sul, a well-known location in Brazil’s capital. This swim-run aquathlon has approximately 290 athletes registered, and it is the sole qualifier for the World Aquathlon Championship. The event is set for May, with equipment collection and the technical briefing occurring the day prior to the competition. The course focuses on the bridge and lake area, not a lengthy city route. The elite men’s and women’s competitions are anticipated to be close, featuring registered athletes such as Yago Alves, Bruna Mahn, Bruno Matheus, Luis Francisco de Paiva Ferreira, and Priscila da Silva Rocha. Age-group athletes compete in the same event, and several participants from Santa Catarina are entered. Prize money amounts to R$10,000, divided equally between the men’s and women’s races, with prizes awarded to the top five in the Elite/Sub-23 and Junior categories.
