Athina's Ride 2026

Athina's Ride is an event for cyclists, runners, and walkers to support the mission of finding a cure for desmoid tumors. Participants can join in their local area or in Oyama, British Columbia. On June 27th, 2026, Athina Merckx will lead a 40km ride starting at 10am from the Oyama Hall. This ride is part of the Okanagan Graveller event and is for participants who have raised or donated $100 or more. After the ride, a social gathering and silent auction will be held at the Oyama Community Hall. Registration, fundraising, and donations are still open to support desmoid tumor research. Over the past five years, the event has raised over $400,000 for research, with 100% of proceeds going to the Desmoid Tumour Foundation of Canada. Donations are tax-deductible.
