Thornbury Turkey Trot 2026

The Thornbury Turkey Trot begins and ends at the Beaver Valley Community Centre in Thornbury, Ontario, during Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Organized by the Rotary Club of Thornbury-Clarksburg, this road event is suitable for families and includes a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a free 1K children's run, with run/walk choices for the shorter distances. Over 700 participants have taken part, marking it as a community race with a significant crowd, not just a small local gathering. The courses wind through Thornbury and Clarksburg amidst autumn foliage, offering sights of Georgian Bay and the Niagara Escarpment.
