Allschwiler Klausenlauf 2026

The Allschwiler Klausenlauf is a December run in Allschwil, Basel-Landschaft, rooted in the Swiss Samichlaus tradition. Approximately 1,700 runners typically participate, positioning it as a prominent running event in Northwest Switzerland. Participants can choose between 6.6 km and 10 km runs, a 6.6 km walk or Nordic walk, and children’s and youth races of 0.85 km and 1.7 km. The course features rolling terrain, not a flat path, with 105 meters of elevation gain. The 6.6 km race has a 1 hour 30 minute time limit.
