Préalpes Trail du Mouret 2026

Préalpes Trail du Mouret is a mountain trail race in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, typically held in mid-September. Participants can select from 12.6 km, 20 km, 32.2 km, or 52.3 km distances. The 20 km distance is also available as a duo race for teams of two. The event is part of the UTMB Index calendar, with most of its races focused on nature and mountain running rather than road speed. The shortest race is the 12.6 km MaxiCross de la Borne, featuring 700 m of climbing. The 20 km “Trail Découverte” has 990 m of climbing, the 32.2 km “Trail Confirmé” has 1,760 m of climbing, and the 52.3 km “Trail Expert” includes 3,160 m of elevation gain. This course structure provides a challenging introduction for newer trail runners while presenting a significant long-distance challenge for experienced mountain runners.
