Swissman Xtreme Triathlon 2027

The Swissman Xtreme Triathlon takes place in the Ticino region. The event begins with a 3.8 km swim in the lake at Ascona. This is followed by a 180 km road cycling segment with 3770m of elevation gain, and concludes with a 42 km road running segment with 1990m of elevation gain. The total elevation gain for the course is 5760m. The race transitions from the lakeside atmosphere to mountain scenery as participants gain altitude. Post-race activities include exploring Ascona's Promenade, its streets, Locarno's Piazza Grande, the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso, and enjoying the views by Lake Maggiore.
