Běh kolem Hejtmanu 2026

The Běh kolem Hejtmanu race begins and ends at the TJ Jiskra Chlum u Třeboně stadium, organized by the same club. The event caters to young runners and adults. Ten children’s and youth categories compete in the morning, followed by the main 10 km road race for men and women across seven age categories. The adult race is open to participants 18 and older, with 15-year-olds permitted if they have parental consent. The youngest runners compete on a 400 m cinder track within the stadium, with distances from 150 m to 1600 m. The 250 m race starts boys and girls together. The 10 km race exits the stadium, utilizing local roads through Chlum u Třeboně, turning onto Tyršova Street, and includes a section along the Hejtman pond dam before proceeding towards Staňkov. Now in its 58th edition, this is an established local race.
