Běžecká série Berounka - Hlásná Třebaň 2026

The Berounka - Hlásná Třebaň running series is an evening trail race that begins at 6 PM from TJ Sokol Hlásná Třebaň, a sports club in the village near Karlštejn. The 9.2 km route includes 280 m of elevation gain, making it a short, hilly run rather than a flat road race. Participants receive a race number. Online registration is available, and on-site registration closes at 5 PM. The entry fee is reduced for runners using a voucher for the full 12-race series or a 6-race voucher; same-day entry is 390 CZK. The course is marked with red-and-white flags and red arrows on the ground. It ascends initially on the yellow trail past a small chapel into the Karlštejn national nature park, reaching Císařská louka, offering views of Karlštejn Castle and the surrounding forest. After descending towards the castle, the route shifts to the red St. James's Trail, passing through woodland near Mořinka. It then loops over the small hill named Políčko before descending through the forest to the finish. Refreshments and bag storage are provided at the venue, and the top three finishers in each category are awarded a diploma.
