5/10k Rainbow Run 2026

The 5/10k Rainbow Run is a forest race in Frankfurt Goldstein. Runners can choose a single 5 km lap or complete two laps for 10 km. This event is part of the FVV XMAS Tournament weekend and takes place in the Frankfurt City Forest, not on city streets. The race promotes running against homophobia in sport and supports an open, tolerant society. The route follows mostly firm forest paths with some asphalt sections, making it suitable for newer runners and those seeking a faster pace. The field is intentionally diverse: beginners, experienced runners, queer athletes, allies, and individuals of any age, body type, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, or appearance are welcome at the start line. The FVV XMAS Tournament, which includes the race, also features a Saturday night party, Sunday brunch, and a city tour. The tournament has been a fixture on the LGBTIQ* sports calendar for over 30 years.
