8. Oldersumer Appel-Loop 2026

The Oldersumer Appel-Loop is a community race day in Moormerland, Lower Saxony, featuring an apple theme at the finish area. Participants can select a 5 km or 10 km run, while walkers have a 5 km route. Children can compete in an 800 m run, with separate starts for U6/U8 and U10/U12 age groups. The course winds through Oldersum’s parkland, follows the Rorichumer Tief canal, goes past the Museum alte Seilerei, and concludes in the Apple Park. FC Oldersum e.V. of 1929 is the organizing body, and the Oldersumer Apple Market takes place in the Apple Park concurrently. The Appel-Loop is part of the Ostfriesische 7 race series around Emden and Oldersum; completing at least five of the seven races earns a series shirt.
