1. Adelsberg Backyard Ultra 2026

The 1. Adelsberg Backyard Ultra begins in Chemnitz, Germany, near the Adelsbergturm. As a Backyard Ultra, participants will run the same 6.71 km loop on an hourly schedule, rather than a set course. The race is scheduled for 24 hours, with a 48-hour maximum, and a limit of 50 runners. The loop follows forest and field paths, primarily through woodland surrounding Adelsberg. Each circuit includes approximately 150 meters of elevation change, meaning the repeated climbs and descents become more significant as the event progresses. SG Adelsberg e.V. is the organizing body, Pierre Kiesewetter serves as the contact, and the registration fee is 35 euros.
